HMM Gun Sniper Leena Special Review

This was my very first HMM Zoid model the Gun Sniper Leena Special. One thing you will notice right away is that it is loaded with tons of weapons and takes the term overkill to a whole new level.
This was one of the smaller HMM kits as the Gun Sniper is a smaller Zoid compare to the Liger's and Geno's Zoids, which was nice as the shipping for it wasn't too crazy unlike some of the bigger HMM kits.
The detail on this kit is pretty nice, their will be some areas that will have to be mask and a few seams lines that will have to be fix if you what to paint it, but like the other HMM kits it looks very good.
It does have a few parts that keep falling off, but that is a common issue with most HMM kits . It is very back heavy and if it isn't stand up the right way, it will fall over, dues to all of the weapons mounted on it. Without the weapons, it is really stable, and will not fall over easy
It does have a great movement thou out the body which makes it quite easy to pose, but with the weapons on, it can be limited.
I haven't painted it yet, but I do plan too one day, but it will be awhile before I paint this as I have other kits I wanna do first and still have to finish.
Anywho here are some pics of the unpainted kit:

HMM Liger Zero Panzer Box Preview

Here is the Highend Master Model (HMM) Liger Zero Panzer made by Kotobukiya from the series known as Zoids. This bad boy just arrived at my home today. For those who have build one of the HMM will know that there is alot of parts to these kits, easily anyway from 30-50+ runners of parts, which is alot.
The level of detail on these kits are also great, I would say about or the same level as a PG Gunpla kit. They have great movement as well, so they can do pull off some really cool poses. One bad thing about them is that they often have parts falling off very easy, so a little glue may help you out if it gets really bad.
This isn't my first HMM kit, as I already have three more before this one. I have the Blade Liger, Geno Breaker, and Gun Sniper Leena Special. I made do a little preview for them one day down the road. I would love to have more of these as I just love the Zoids series in general, and that the HMM kits are just so nice. But because of the number of parts to these kits, the shipping can be really costly. The shipping for Liger Zero Panzer was almost the same as the price of the kit itself.......
I plan to get the other two versions of Liger Zero down the road, but I was looking forward to the Panzer the most of the three, which is way I made it my first one. =D The Liger Zero Panzer is the most heavily arm out of the three, which you can tell by the massive amount of weapons and missile pods located thru out it's body.
Anywho here are some pictures of it's box and the manual:

MG RX-178 Gundam Mk.2 WIP 4

Here is a little update on the Mk.2. I am almost done painting now, just gotta finish painting the rest of the darker blue and black pieces and finish making the sword and it will be done.
So far this has been my easiest kit so far as I haven't run into any problems as of yet. Let's hope it stays that way. XD
I did do some detailing on the legs and the arms by painting in the cables with silver and the connecters with gold and some copper in the middle. It is only for looks as once I put the outer armor on, nothing will be seen, but felt like doing it for fun. Plus it is good practice for hand painting.
The only thing I am not sure about is how the bright Blue and the darker blue with the red, black and yellow is going to turn out. I did do a quick photoshop of my model with the color scheme I plan to do on it, and I wasn't too sure on it, but hoping that once I see the painted kit it will look better.
That is really all I have to say this post, next post may be the WIP for the sword, or another one for Mk.2, we will see.

MG RX-178 Gundam Mk.2 WIP 3

This is going to be mostly a small WIP  as I have alot of clean up to do on this kit. As I said before, this was my 2nd ever MG/Kit I got so when I snap build it the first times years ago, I didn't do that great of a job of cutting the nub marks off and use too rough of a sand paper, so I am going to have to re sand everything and give all of the parts a good wish before painting.
What I have done so far is that I begin to take take the model apart and part all of the different color parts into different tubs and have made some very minor mods to it. I wanted to add lots of pla plate all over the body to give it a more heavy armor look to it, but I am not having very good luck gluing the pla plates on as I got about 1 and have sec to get it in the right place before the glue dries and makes it imposable to move it after. (The reason why I love crazy glue and hate it all at the same time.)
For the colors, I am going to try to stay mostly true to the titan color scheme. So I plan to try to go with a two tone blue color scheme with some chrome and gold areas mostly to the frame. I also plan to change some colors around like the middle part on the chest I plan to do in blue, and the lower part on the kneels I plan to change to red.
Anywho here are some pics of the unpainted kit and some WIP pics as well:

MG Freedom

My final showcase for my old completed kits as I have already done Hi-Nu and Deathscythe. Freedom has always been on of my favorite designs, so for me this was a must build. That being said, I had tons of problems on this kit like the V fin broke, the arm broke, so it is limited to what poses it can do. I didn't like how I had to mask the gun for the blue area, seeing how it wasn't that hard to add another part for the gun, which the RG did do. Another problem, which was my error was the eyes. I should have put a chrome coating on before I applied the clear red as it is really hard to see the red. I learn from this mistake and can tell from models like Hi-Nu which the eyes really stick out.

Anywho here are the pics:

MG Guntank

Time for Guntank to shine. I for some reason always love the design of the Guntank, but not the colors for some reason. So for this kit I want with a winter color scheme of a white/gray/black cameo. Like in my other post about Guntank, I can't see me doing never another cameo paint scheme any time soon as it is alot of work. I also try to add a snow effect on the body and the tracks, which turn out so so.  This kit was also my last time using the dry on decals as I switch over to waterside decals after this kit.
My main reason of taken new pictures of Guntank was to get better pictures like I have been doing with my other kits so far. I also wanted to show of the LEDs in the head unit which lights up the eyes and the dashboard inside.
My only complaints with this kit is the tracks on the tank wheels and that you must have the core fighter in it too hold the body together. Other then that, it is a great kit.

MG Z'Gok

I have already posted completed pictures of this kit before, but at the time didn't have a light booth and felt that the pictures I took before didn't show how my Z'Gok really turn out. Since I have my light booth set up right now, it was the perfect time to retake some better pictures of Z'Gok.
Anywho, here are the newly taken pictures:

MG RGM-79(G) GM Ground

Another one of my early projects and felt the need to take better pictures of this kit since I got my light booth out right now. This was also my first kit to be fully painted in Mr. Color paints and to try out the battle damage idea as well.
This MG is also quite the oldie, but in my eyes is one of the best for being such a old kit. I would love to build the RX-79(G) Gundam to go with it as it is also one of my favorite Gundams and I love all things from 08th Team. =D Those you have build both will know that this kit and the RX-79(G) Gundam are mostly the same kit with some different designs mostly in the chest and the head.

P.S.
I am sure some have notice if you read my blog, but I have been updating the showcase part of my blog which is only completed kits starting at the bottom as my oldest working up to newest, which is why Hi-Nu is at the top.

Anywho, time for pictures:

MG Zaku I Ramba Ral

Another one of my early works and also the first time I use Mr. Color paints. Also another kit that hasn't had any pictures taken of it since it was completed. I didn't have much luck seeing how the blue came out uneven, but ended up going with a blue cameo idea for it. The MG is a very old one, and it shows in the joints and the fingers. The thumb does not want to stay in place and keep popping off on me.
I did add to the model after I was finish like the big sword, which was also my first time scrap building. It turn out okay, and you could say that it was the basic design for the new swords I plan on making for my next project, Gundam Mk.2.
Anywho time for the pics:
