Kshatriya WIP 4

Sorry for the long update. I have started painting but have stop painting due to lose in interest. But I do plan to pick this project up again once my new Power Jet Pro comes in =) Anywho I'll save that for another post. This is a small update as I haven't taken any pics of the painted parts, but will update that later on. I have painted all of the black parts and have started the green ones. I did find out that this model is going to be a pain to stand with out it falling over as it is very heavy. Anywho, I just have 2 pics as of right now, but once I get my camera out and take more pics, I will upload them.

Kshatriya WIP 3

This update is a very small one, been hurt for the last 2 weeks, so I haven't got much done. But my main area this time was the arms. Both arms are done now, just got the head, and some little touch ups here and there, which then I will be finally on the painting side.
Anywho here are the pics:

Kshatriya WIP 2

I am back with another update on the sms Kshatriya resin kit. It is about 80% modded now with the lower body completely finish with the mods. For what I have done, I added lots of ball joints to areas that move to give this kit alot more movable body. Basically adding all of the ball joints is done, just gotta add the three cups in the last 3 binders and glow in all of the ball joints.
For the other areas that doesn't have any ball joints, but is to heavy to stay on, or can't by itself, I am pinning all of those areas down. I am shock to how well this is working, but this kit is adding wight at a scary rate =)
Anywho more WIP Pics:

Kshatriya WIP

First of all, I love the Kshatriya design, guess you could say it was love at first sight for me lol I only wish that Bandai would hurry up, and make a MG of it, but for now I am working on my very first resin model kit of a SMS Kshatriya. I kinda made a few mistake already and broke a few parts, but nothing a little putty can't fix =p
Anywho, here are some WIP pics of what I got done so far.

MG 1/100 Deathscythe

I am happy to say that this kit is finally done. It turn out really good in my eyes, had a few little problems but nothing big. I would like to say that this kit is very nicely done, and it anyone is looking for a good model to start on, I would say this one would be a good choice. The only problem I have with this model is the fingers, unlike most MG, which has movable fingers, this one does not, but you get to pick for 8 different hands, 4 for each hand.
Anywho, I did try out modding for the first time, and it turn out pretty good, then again, it was a very simple mod at that. But I think it turn out rather nice. As for the colors, I stay with the basic color and made a few changes in some areas, but mostly the same anywho the finish model:

MG 1/100 Deathscythe WIP

For my next project, I just want to work on something really easy, so no masking, no seam line fixes, etc. So, the new MG kit Deathscythe fits the area perfect. For this kit, I plan to try some modding for the time time, nothing to complex, just adding new metal thrusters from HIQParts.. As for the color scheme this time around, I plan to do the normal color scheme of the kit, with some areas done in chrome, and gold.

MG Freedom + Light WIP

So here  is my MG Freedom. First off light my say that I am so happy that this guy is finally done. I had nothing but problems with this guy from the start. First off, it's left arm completely broke, so basically the only thing holding it together is putty, and it's V-fan broke too, but that was a easy fix. Doesn't help that I lose a few parts to it as well, but very manor parts, so it wasn't too bad. Another thing that I learn from this build is that from now on I am going to make all of the panel lines more deep on my models as in some areas the paint was to think so the wash wasn't working too great.

Anywho, as for the color scheme I wanted to try something new for this guy, but it was the first time I had so much trouble picking a color scheme. But I am very happy on the final colors, and despite all of the problems I am very happy how it turn out.

Anywho here are some of the final work pics:
