MG Guntank

So this is a really late post, but here is the MG Guntank I did. The theme for this guy was a winter cameo theme which turn out okay. I don't think I will do a cameo paint job again for a very long time after this and this was my last guntank. The only real thing that bug me about this model is the tracks around the wheels which keep coming off to the point where I wanted to melt them down, but now that he is in place,  don't really plan on moving it anytime so. So here are the pics:

Guntank WIP

Here is my WIP for my MG RX-75 Guntank. I do plan on doing any mods on this guy, but I do plan to do a different color scheme this time around. My goal is to go with a winter type look, so I will be mostly using white, grays, and black on this. I also plan to do a light weathering as well, some rust, mostly snow effects.

Update:
I got mostly the inner fame painted now. I also did some detailing this time around, seeing how this kit cry's for its for it. I did made a  mistake here and there, mostly on the detailing as I don't have steady hands, plus I don't really have any small brushes. Anywho here are the pics:

New Fourms!

I would like to tell you guys about the new forums for this blog that I am working on right now.  I know that the amount of people who come here is very low, so I though a cool way to get more people and add something cool to this blog would be a forum. The forum is still being work on, but it is kinda ready for people to post on. My goal is to redesign the forums so it match's the bog theme, but I been to lazy to mass around with the coding. So for now it will have that pretty basic look to it for awhile. Also, there will be some ads, as I am using the free forum, and it will stay that way, unless alot of people start using then I will think about removing the ads, but like I said before. The amount of people here is very low, so I am not too sure whats going to happen. Anywho, if anyone have any ideas, be sure to post them at the new forums!

Update:
Been working on the forums and I gotta say. It is starting to look like a forum now. I move them to Zeta Boards now as they look nicer and easier to redesign. I have the basic design done now, just some little things left like links, fonts, etc.

Z'Gok

So the Z'Gok is all finish now. I didn't do any thing big like battle damage like last time, but I did do some rust weathering as the Z'Gok is a sea type unit, so there is bound to be some rust on him. I did have a few problems, but learn alot from them as well. Over all I am pretty happy, and can't wait to get started on my next guy.
Anywho, the finish kit:

Z'Gok WIP

So this is my WIP on the MG Z'gok. I have always love the design of the Z'Gok, and wish that bandai would make a MG of the Hy-Gogg and the Z'gok Experimen. But I don't see that happening to soon.
So anywho, back on topic. My plan with this kit is to do OOB build, so nothing to crazy. But I do wanna give shadowing a try this time around, and I may give it a light weathering, mostly rust seeing how this is a water type MS.

RGM-79G GM (G)

It makes me happy to say this, that my GM (G) is 100% all done now. I had fun working on this kit and learn may new things on what to do and not to do. This was also my first time weathering a kit, an I gotta say, that it turn out better then what I had though. I don't know if I go this crazy again with the weathering, but I plan to start using it more on other kits now.
Anywho the finish kit:

RGM-79 GM (G) WIP

For my next kit, I plan to work on a GM (G) type, as the GM (G) is alot more bad ass then the plan old looking GM. I also gonna give weathering a try as well, seeing how it goes perfect with this kit.
I already got the kit and the weathering makeup, just waiting for the paint to get here, and I will be set.

Update:
I basically have this game 95% done now, but I've have been to lazy to upload any pics. So he is a new upload of 30 pics enjoy!

Zaku I Update

Here is a little update on the Zaku I.
- All of the gray parts have been painted.
- Run out of gray paint, so had to use spray cans.

Nothing like having a heart attack then painting your models. Was working on one part and cat wanted to jump on my lap, and made my hit one of my paint bottles. And paint want all over the place, not fun. =( Another down side is that I mess up pretty bad on the axe. I was going good until I try hand painting some yellow onto it. Lets say that paint didn't want to stick on even with the primer. So I may have to take off all of the paint now just to fix it. No fun.

Thrid Custom Rig Finish

I was never able to post pictures of my 2nd build as I didn't want the person who it was being built for to find out as it was a birthday gift for him. But seeing as this computer doesn't matter as the person is already using it, I can go crazy with the pics and go into detail with it.

The main goal of this build was to make a very good computer for a good price.
The specs of this computer are:

- hec HP585DL 585W ATX12V Power Supply
- ARCTIC COOLING ACALP64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
- Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
- ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
- AMD Phenom 9850 2.5GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition Processor
- A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit
- Sony Optiarc 24X DVD/CD Rewritable Drive Black SATA
- LOGISYS Computer LT400PL 80mm Purple LED Case Fan
- RAIDMAX SIRIUS ATX-701WB Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Overall the total price was $300 - $350.

Now for the parts review:
I will start off on the case of the computer. The person I build this for fall in love with this case right away. I won't lie, the design is pretty sick, but this case does have some flows with it. The biggest flaw is the door of the case. The door is really heavy for a case door, which may sound good. But the only things holding it in place is two little weak plastic parts which the bottom one broke off right away. The door still opens fine, but falls off sometimes which can be a pain. But other then that, this case is mostly good. Tool-less design which is always nice, black inside to match the outside, and etc.
For the motherboard, am not going to lie. Of all of the computers I have work on, I gotta say it is one of the nicest ones around. I had zero problems with it, unlike my motherboard in my computer. (XFX 750i sucks) Anywho, it is a ASUS, which I always had good luck with and this board is just perfect. I have nothing bad to say about this board at all and if you are building a rig for a socket type 775, I highly think you should use this board or another asus board.
Other then that, I have no problems with any of the other parts, they are work really good. But let me say this, find any purple led fans is almost impossible, I was lucky with the 80mm, but good luck finding anything higher.

Time for the pics:

Z.O.E. Dolores,i

Plot:
James Links is a 49-year-old space trucker anxious to return to Earth and reunite with his estranged children Leon and Noel. While transporting some goods to Earth, he stumbles upon "Dolores," a highly-advanced Orbital Frame with an A.I. of unknown origin. The situation gets more complicated when inspectors aboard his ship are murdered and James is wanted for the crime. Making matters worse is that Leon and Noel are also wanted by the authorities simply because they are James' children. Now as fugitives running from the law, James, Leon and Noel must go by any means necessary to make sure Dolores does not fall into the wrong hands, as she holds the key to the whereabouts of James' wife, Dr. Rachel Links.

Feelings:
Seeing how I love the Zone of the Enders games for the PS2, I just had to watch both of the animes for it. Funny thing is that the anime do tie into the game plot, like this one starts before Z.O.E. and keeps going on after it. You even get to see Anubis a few times in it as well. The story was a little lame in a few spots as the father tries to look good to his kids, but ends up being rather cornish. Overall if you  big fans to the games watch it, if not pass.

FFXIII & Collector's Edition Guide

I just pick up FFXII when it came out on the 9th. Seeing how it is a FFXII game, I had to get the guide book for it as well. My plan was to get the Collector's Edition Guide, so I give EB Games a call and see if they were doing pre-orders for the book. They told me they were, so I get ready for work and leave early to gt pre-order it. I get there, and they then tell me that they are not doing anymore pre-orders for it. One reason why I dislike buying anything from there.
Anywho, I try calling up walmart real fast and ask if they were getting any of the books. They told me they didn't know. So at this point I give up, and the next day I go pick up my pre-order of FFXIII, headed back to EB Games to see if they may have got any extra books.  I get there and shortly a huge line up forms up. Doors open and we all go to the checkout right away. I look and see 7 books, 5 were pre-orders, and like that my heart started racing. There was three people in front of me, and I started to get worry as the first two people didn't have pre-orders and they both pick up the CEG. But luck was on my side as the 3rd person did have a pre-order and like that I was able to get my book.
I race home, and play for about 45mins before I had to head to work. I really wanted to call in sick that day, seeing how I never have miss a single day since I been there. But suck it up and headed to work.

Mini Review:
I am not that far into the game yet, so I can't really give a good review, but here is my two cents into it so far.

Story: 9/10
Characters: 8/10
Gameplay: 9/10
Graphics: 10/10

Story:
So far the story is really good. It starts off alot like FFVII did, as you start off in a train and are put into action right away which is a nice feel. As I am not too far into the game I can't really tell you more at this point, but so far is really good.

Characters:
I gotta say, I am really liking the characters so far. They have put alot of work into their characters. Each character has a story to be told and the make it so they are meet up together. One thing I am really liking that I felt that FF12 lack is the characters all have a point to be in the story when in 12, some characters didn't really have a point in being in the story at all after the start of the game. (Vaan)

Gameplay:
This game is a fast turn base game that has you control one guy in battle. I am not that far into the game, so I have very little skills to play with. So right now my main attack is well "attack". But they have really speed up the battles and can't wait to see in later of the game when I got more skills to play with.

Graphics:
Not to say much here, but for a JRPG. The graphics are just plain out the best I have seen in any JRPG.

Tanglewood Thicket Creations

I would like to share with you guys some work that my older sister does. Everyone is handmade, and they all range in different sizes from small to huge. (As you can tell from the pic with my cute little niece in it.) I would highly recommend anyone to check them out. Better yet, buy a few of them would be even better. My sister is very friendly, and you would not meet anyone nicer then her. Check out her store at:
or check out her blog at tanglewoodthicket

Here are some pics of some of her work:

New Website Design!

So I have redesign this site to have a much cleaner look then before. The layout has also change, giving me more room in my post now. But because of this, some of the post my have huge spaces in them now, which is a small problem. But on the upside, no more adds as I have completely made this layout on my own, as that last layout was just someones design that I change alittle bit to match my blog. If anyone want to know how I made it. I found a really simple, yet really good designer called Artisteer.

SD Zaku I Gunner Update

So this guy has been done for quite some time now, but I been to lazy to take some pics of him. This was my first SD model that I have ever painted, and my 2nd Gundam kit that I have ever painted. I made a few mistakes on the masking as some of it leak, and the choice of flat topcoat that I use. Never use Krylon Acrylic Clear coat on any models as it eats at the paint. I found out the hard way. =(
Anywho here as some pics: P.S. Photobucket is being lame and not uploading the rest of my pics, so this is all that I got for now.
